Black Pond — Attraction in Meriden

What a beautiful to hike, the blue trial is well marked. The path is very easy to navigate, and when you reached the top, the views are spectacular. We didn't see any hiker around. I wish more people know about this place. The parking area we use off the road is not the best, but hike from there was awesome. The parking designated for the area is bigger enough to hold at least 10 cars. I ended up parking near guidance and taking the Blue trail off to powder Ridge it's such a beautiful view once you get to the top that overlooks black pond. It is a bit Rocky so please wear proper shoes my dog does love this trail I've only done it once and I will definitely come back.
