Explore and allow yourself to be amazed, Mesquite is my home town and I had never been to this place. It is huge, so much to see, everyone taking pictures, nature colors, outdoors and people, nothing beats that, come to this place with your parents, your first date, your kids, the place is amazing, I bet it will be a lot of meaningful conversations, I seen a couple of people with their dogs too, so much to look at and you don't have to stay for a long time, or get tired, we were there for 30-40 minutes, truly I never expected that much, seeing it from highway 80 is not the same, so cool to have this park around, get out there and enjoy yourselves🥰😇

I'm going to say it's a beautiful and 2.5 mile trail. The only thing is a lot of hornets flying around. And the playground is full all the way around inside the playground of BIG RED Ants. That bite. A lot of ants and hornets all around the place. Be very cautious and careful if u let the kids play on the playground equipment. A lot of picnic tables are available. I just wouldn't go back to let my toddler play. But it looks nice to jog here. Also careful warning signs of 🐺 in the area.

An absolutely enchanting (and gigantic) place to observe and marvel at nature while enjoying any of a number of outdoor activities.

I walk and jog a lot these days and this is a must see if you're anywhere in the mesquite area. Actually, after visiting, I'd say it's worth the drive even if you're closer to Dallas.

The main entrance is right off the frontage and is easily accessible. You're initially greeted by an expansive parking lot with a welcome center. The wide open spaces are littered with trails going in several directions. Keep in mind the trails are rock/gravel and are accordingly more suited for walking than biking/strollers etc.

The occasional tree marks the open landscape and several interpretive signs dot the landscape. Rolling hills will be a usual sight and you may need to jump a small creek of water in a lowland area!

I must say I absolutely loved how sprawling of an area the farm encompasses and I'll definitely be back here both to enjoy the lush landscape and to check out the various features (barns, pavilions, and natural objects).

Definitely check this place out if you have the free time and be sure to bring your phone as you may need to find your way back to the parking lot with GPS - it really is that large! Absolutely...
