OUR COMMUNITY'S VITAL ART SPACE Hidden behind an office building in Doral is a unique community -really a family - of outstanding Artists in Residence, of spacious light-filled gallery spaces, a performance arts theater, and a school where resident artists teach concepts and techniques using the same principles established in the Florence art academy founded in 1543. This is Miami International Fine Arts, MiFa for short. The artists' work ranges from painting to sculpture to jewelry making to installations, to an acting company's performances in both Spanish and English, with regular exhibitions featuring both resident artists and rising stars.
