Crossroads Church West Side — Attraction in Miami Township

10 stars! It's a smaller scale version of the Oakley site, which lends itself to getting close to other Westsiders. God is moving mountains at Crossroads. Scripture is thoroughly studied in small groups and relevantly honored during sermons. I LOVE that all Crossroads sites have the same message. It doesn't matter that it's on a big screen. Besides, you never know when Brian Tome is in the house... When we can't be here, we listen to the message on our phones. But we love coming because of the Worship! The band rocks, but knows how to slow it down for a good ballad to God. We have had our marriage healed through counseling here and have truly seen miraculous healings. It's not all hokey weird, they're just regular people acknowledging that God is using their hands and feet. I've had incredibly bad church experiences in the past. We’ve been away from the church for the last decade and have recently wanted to get our kids in to a church, so 3 weeks ago we started going to Crossroads. It is amazing, they have specialized teachings for the Kids called Kids Club (new age Sunday school), and the worship service reminds me of my childhood in Northern Ohio (Youth Jam), with a praise band first, getting you up and out of your seat, with great Sunday teachings that have really hit home for me! We look forward to Sunday mornings, they have 2 services 9:15a & 11:15a, which makes getting to church on time with kids easier with the later service! Great place to meet new friends and work in the community actually helping not just talking. Great messages and love the "Series". They are always looking for volunteers and they from easy to somewhat difficult projects. In real estate they say this property is not a drive by...same with Crossroads.
