The Oak Leaf at Aston Oaks — Restaurant in Miami Township

Went with a big party and for a large party we had pretty good service. Everyone's food looked good and mostly nice portions. We did have a problem with the pickle fries. They were so salty nobody could eat them so we sent them back, but they forgot to take them off my friends bill. She said she already ran the card and couldn't take it off. I paid cash for my order and was waiting for my change which this same waitress never brought back to me. I guess she thought I would give it all to her, but I should have been given that choice. I never heard you can't remove something from a check before, because you can sure add a tip to that open credit card! Everything considered, I do want to go back and try some of the other items...

First time eating here. We made our reservation for brunch at 10:15 a.m. on Open Table and as soon as we were greeted by the Hostess we were asked how we were able to make a reservation. We told her and as we were being taken to our table, we were told that we had to be finished by 11:45 a.m. because they had this table reserved at the time. It was weird because there were many open tables at the time. We felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. The food on the buffet was cold. The only saving grace was the omelette station. The gentleman working the station were very friendly and so was our server. The rating for service would have been higher if the Hostess hadn't engaged us the way...

Service was great. Our waitress was very polite and personable and did an excellent job keeping drinks filled and such. The food was... decent. It was worth trying, but I'm not sure I would come again.

I ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and a Ceasar salad. The salad was delicious, but very small. The sauce on the meatloaf was good, but the meat itself lacked almost any seasoning or flavor. The mashed potatoes were the best part of the dinner.

My buddy got the crab pasta and felt very much the same. It was just 'alright.' Not worth complaining about or sending back, but wouldn't...
