I would not recommend this campground to anyone unless you are tent camping. The park has electric sites for tents to make it safe to use electric heaters if you are cold natured. The RV sites are really close together with only a small patch of grass between each site. We have been to many state parks in Kansas and I would recommend those over the sites in northern OK. We also visited Berniece state park and it was even worse than this one. The sites are too close together to enjoy any outdoor activities at your camper. Especially at a time when social distancing is required. The water hook ups are very poorly paced and I highly recommend having addition water hoses on board (a good recommendation regardless of where you are going ) The sites are way overpriced for what they are. The state uses a hotel pricing model, so the fuller the park is , the more it costs. We stayed three days at a cost of 95.00. It is very unlikely we will investigate any additional parks in the state and instead will go to AR or KS. Much prettier there and much less expensive. The lake is the only redeeming quality. It is very large and if you like to fish or have a boat it would be a great place to explore , just not camp.

The facilities are older and rougher than some states parks, but they get heavy use by avid campers and real fishermen and families all season long. But, they are in good working order and the camp office is very nearby. There are RV, improved, tent, and primitive sites. During the week in June it looks like the campground was maybe 10% full with several more trucks and trailers still down fishing even at midnight. Camper told me his family had caught 70 catfish in 3 days. Oklahomans are friendly folks, generally. Nice to strangers.

Very nice state park, staff were very helpful and friendly. Place has nice spots for camping. Some views of the river. The only thing they could have more of is trails for hiking. They have a few trails and all are maintained but they could do a little better. Noise from the highway and train can be heard at the campgrounds. Overall very nice park.

Stopped here on a road trip for an overnight stay. Needed electricity and phone service for work, the extremely friendly staff told us to pick a site that best suited our needs. The park ranger was extremely friendly and more than happy to offer advice on places to go around the area. The night we stayed, there happened to be a tornado watch; the park ranger went out of his way to warn everyone and told us what to do in case of emergency. Overnight the watch turned to a warning and before the town sirens even went off, the wonderful ranger alerted the campers to get to safety. He ensured everyone was safe and following the tornado, made his rounds again to make sure everyone was alright. If you are looking to meet genuine good people, Twin Bridges is the place to go. It also helps that the park is well kept and a nice place to spend a day enjoying some scenery. I would recommend this place a...
