We visited Twin Bridges Area at Grand Lake State Park, and camped at the Echo Hollow Campgrounds while on our way out west. It was not far from Interstate 44. The campgrounds were small and sites were tight with fairly level paved pads a picnic table and fire ring. We witnessed an awesome migration of White Pelicans on the Spring River. The campground had a lot of road noise with a two lane highway separating the campground loops and not far from Highway 60. They cleaned the shelter that morning which included removing old charcoal from the grill and knocking down cobwebs. There is a clean bathroom and a playground close by. We were very impressed.
