Virginia Key — Attraction in Miami

On Sunday, December 22nd, we visited the park and were amazed by its beauty. We spent a peaceful day with friends, taking care to respect the environment and leaving everything spotless. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by the behavior of an on-duty officer.

Around 4:00 PM, we started being pressured to leave, even though the park was scheduled to close at 5:30 PM. The officer treated us rudely and continued to follow us to our cars, eventually forcing us out by 5:00 PM.

It’s disappointing that such a lovely place is tarnished by poor treatment of its visitors. A park like this deserves management that welcomes and values those who come...

It's probably one of the most underrated beach spots in miami. It's hardly ever crowded. And it's pretty "private" compared to other beaches in miami. It's my personal go-to spot if I choose to go with friends or family to the beach. Would choose this place over south beach anyday of the week. The park staff will never bother you, if at all. This is a beautiful place, ful of nature and good vibes. The beach is calm and transparent, most of the time. You have trees, tables and grills around to sit comfortable around and protect yourself from the sun. There is a parking fee from Thursday to Sunday of 8 USD per car. There are bathrooms, nos always clean, but will find an outdoor shower that is helpful. Pets are not allowed and...
