I've heard wonderful things about Lyman's and finally went one morning with a few other family members. It was very crowded, probably moreso because it was a beautiful fall weekend and because of Covid-19 restrictions limiting the number of guests allowed in the store and corn maze. We didn't go into either, not wanting to wait in long lines. So we went apple picking, or tried to. The trees were practically bare except for apples way up high where only machinery could reach. What little we found were insect-damaged, including active worms in some apples. After wandering around for about an hour and a half, we managed to fill the prepaid bags. Oh, yeah, it's not by weight, it's by the bag. So we were committed to filling them. Read moreThe gps makes it easy to get to the specific picking areas for strawberries, honey berries and raspberries. We went on Thursday which was not too crowded but it was busy. There is plenty of parking on the grassy areas close to whatever fruit you are picking. The strawberries were very small despite being advertised as medium. They were almost flavorless and were not sweet at all, most were sour.
It was my first time trying honey berries. They were good. The fruits are in between the bushes so you will have to dig through.
