Harrington Raceway & Casino — Attraction in Milford

SECURITY IS NOT SECURING! I’ve had bad experiences at Harrington, but having the security manager, ETHAN belittle me in front of the woman that actually stole my money is unacceptable!

I was playing at a machine and I got a bonus. I had to used the restroom-which was not far away and the machine will not allow anyone to put $$ in or out since it is waiting for the start of the bonus. I walked next to this guy-even said good luck! Was out of the bathroom in mins and when I came back the bonus was over and ALL of my money was gone! I see a couple (the guy and his girl) walking fast away and I stopped them..she still had my ticket in her hand! Called security and ETHAN comes over and yells at me to calm down. I told him what happened and he says “Well, there is two sides to every story”. He allows them to walk away after I got my ticket and I stopped to ask him about his intentions saying “I am not trying to tell you how to do your job but if you have no plans to do anything I would like to call the cops”. He said I need to see the footage..I said but they’re just allowed to be walking around?! He responds “I know where they’ll be” I asked him to please let me know and he says if I can find you! I’m standing at the exact spot as where I had just hit for 2200. (So he “knows where they’ll be, but have to find me?!) Over an hour has passed by and I did not hear anything. I went to the security desk and asked for him. He walks up to me and says “what’s up?!” Like I’m some home boy on the street and he didn’t know what I wanted. I said did you look at the footage? He said “I looked at it and you really shouldn’t leave your money in a machine”. I said I was gone for mins-and still, if I know not to touch other ppl’s money why is it okay for others to not do the same. So nothing is going to be done? He said for what?! You got your money back didn’t you-that’s not theft!! I said wow. So where are they now. He says “idk, probably gone by now!!!”.

So ETHAN let them roam after they stole my money and had I not approached them-which is not at all safe-I would be out of money! Ethan showed no remorse and even made me feel so disrespected like I nor my money mattered! Ethan gave them a pass! Let them go and more importantly, gave them the confidence to go and do it to the next person! I had no picture, name, or anything so I have no way of telling the police anything. I don’t feel as though this place is safe with management like ETHAN. There are already no perks to being black/blue diamond-the hosts are a joke there and now we can’t even play in peace without creepers scoping and plotting to take your money! Cameras are there...

Received a card in the mail for $150 free play plus $30 food voucher soI made the almost 2 hour ride up there and followed the instructions to receive my free play. Tried to use the free play it showed up as available but wouldn’t allow me to use my free play so I pushed the call button for an attendant and put $20 of my own money in and played my money until it was gone still no attendant so I played another $20 of my money watching it take each spin out of the money I put in and when my money was gone so was my free play and no attendant ever showed up so I went to the players club desk to be told I played it when I know I didn’t because I only played my $40 and did not win more than $3 on one spin so I am sure I would have known if I played $150 free play. This all took just a few mins to happen and I was playing a penny machine at 75 cents a spin. After explaining to the players club desk and they refused to believe I didn’t play it I went on to play more of my money because I had someone with me and didn’t want to make them leave so soon. I got $700 out of the ATM and put $100 bill in one of the machines and it only put $49 credits on the machine so again I pushed the attendant button and 45 mins later nobody still came so I cashed out went up to cashier explained to them and they told me that I must be mistaken so I explained the entire situation that the ATM gave me all $100 bills so that was all I had and asked them to come to the machine open it up and they should see the $100 bill laying on top and they can check the cycles the machine has ran and verify I am telling the truth but they told me they couldn’t do that and that I have to understand that they get a lot of complaints from people who lose when gambling and cannot just give people their money back. I have been going there for years and never had a problem but I guarantee you that after this experience I will not be returning there. The person that went with me had a similar experience with their free play but it was not for as much as my free play was and she has been going there for many many years and said she will not be returning either. I know the little bit of money they were making off of us isn’t going to hurt them but if this keeps happening their customers will decrease and eventually it will make a difference. This was just to make people aware and to be careful of what you are really getting when going there. I expect nothing from them and want nothing from them my loyalty to that...

I was recently in a car accident and I go there today just to relax get my mind off of things. Try to heal you know just enjoy myself after being in bed rest for a week and I go to leave and catch my ride for Uber but I couldn’t get my money out the machine cause It ran out of paper so after 10 minutes waiting they came around was talking to each other. The girl said I’ll be back I need to go to the cash cash cage to get you your five dollars so we go along, we’re waiting like 10 minutes nobody came to say anything at all. In the meantime the Uber person is about ready to leave me and I’m like where is this five dollars would take so long then the next thing you know, the girl comes out she looks at me and goes turns back around goes back into the cash cage office takes five more minutes, brings out a big black girl who’s about 5’10 who put her hands in my face and told me that I needed to calm down, the white girl who was supposed to be give me my five dollars sat behind her hiding and started laughing. Then a black man also came out he got on the radio said something or another took another five minutes they acted like I needed you know like I won $500 or something before he finally gave me $5.08 make me look ridiculous like you know like I was just making a big deal but in the meantime after I didn’t already told these people I got a Uber waiting for me I have to go and they just really you know, putting a hands in my face telling me to calm down getting all smart with me telling me that they don’t have to give me my money. I told her that’s called theft in the white girl continued to laugh!! You know then they finally gave me my money and I missed my ride!! Had to call them back had to pay extra for that. Is this the kind of treatment this casino runs for their customers I mean I come quite often and I was just in tears by the time I left and yes I did tell that girl off I cussed her out because who wouldn’t be upset who wouldn’t this was ridiculous. I was just very, very upset and don’t appreciate the Service in the treatment that I got from this place you just can’t get good customer care these days they don’t care about anybody at all. They’re just there to make a buck. They don’t care if you’re losing your ride or nothing and then for them to get in your face and just treat you so rudely and gang up on somebody that’s just wow is all I can say wow, I won’t be coming back for a...
