Asbury Park — Attraction in Millcreek Township

The walking trails at this park are great! The only reason I'm only giving 4 stars is because some of the markers are a little misleading. They are not to the point you would get lost, but at least present. I was surprised by the lack of bugs. Usually, I get eaten alive on hikes (I always forget bug repellent), but I didn't notice any! There were a few muddy areas covered by pieces of wood. We didn't get to explore all the trails. I would love to go back in the fall. My first time. yes I said that. Great trails friendly people. Awesome views. Many different trails. There is a little of everything. Trails, streams snakes, fish, animals. It's peaceful alot of different history at Asbury. Bring your friends, family, loved one like I did. Great for adventure, stroll,biking, & exploring. I enjoyed it alot. I had my daughter's graduation party here last weekend at Asbury Pavillion. It Is large enough for a party of 200. We only used about half and had plenty of room. We didn't have a bunch of little kids but even my teenagers enjoyed the different aspects of the playground. The only thing that wasn't great was that the bathrooms were a bit of a walk from the pavillion (not ideal for grandparents and people with health problems) however there is a sidewalk from the pavillion to the bathroom.
