Cooper Park — Attraction in Milwaukee

Diminutive Cooper Park is a great gathering place for the entire neighborhood, and even neighboring neighborhoods. The Friends of Cooper Park have done a great job at promoting activities in the park to capitalize on the assets. Beer garden? Count on it in June. Pollinator garden? Will be expanding along the northern side of the park. Saddened by the loss of dozens of ash trees? New trees planted in 2020 and more...

Arrived just before 2pm on Saturday, only to find out that the wading pool was closing at 2pm. Still a nice park with a nice play area for kids. Not sure why the pool was only open for 4 hours (10am to 2pm). I thought it was open longer last year when I...

My son and I had a great day in a peaceful park! Cooper Park is conveniently located in a secluded area off 87th and Chambers so it's quiet and not overly crowded. We spent hours there without a lot of traffic while he learned to fly his drone....
