This morning was low 60's*, little breeze and light clouds. A perfect Minneapolis summer morning to walk a lake! This path can get a little confusing since parts of it could lead through a neighborhood or follow the railroad and veer slightly off the lakeshore. Good space for cyclists as well as runners and walking. Paved paths are well kept up. There's a great wooded detour that hugs the East shore if you know where to look ( off the railroad tracks) Check the map before you go and determine your route. Not nearly as busy as other lakes nearby- this is a little gem! Beautiful city view in the distance, lots of small wildlife, many birds and a few benches to appreciate the scenery.b Varying distances as to how many .
