I recently stayed the night at your hotel on August16th in room 514. When we got to our room the temperature was extremely warm and humid. I took a shower and when I got out, I could feel grim on the floor and had to wipe off my feet right away. I picked up a hair tie that my girlfriend had dropped in the bathroom and I found Cheetos on the floor telling me that either my room not been cleaned or it was not inspected after. I talked to the front desk and asked if they could have someone fix my AC while we were out getting dinner. When we returned, it was obvious that nobody had been there as it was still very hot in our room. This made sleeping that night pretty miserable until the storm came through and we finally got some cool fresh air in the room. When we were leaving, I mentioned it again to the front desk about the condition of our room and all I received in a response was "OK" and he looked away from me. This was a second date for us, and this did not leave us with a pleasant memory, more of a nightmare story. I wanted to make you aware of this as I booked our room through a 3rd party site called Booking.com, and I will be making them aware of the conditions my room was in when asked how my stay was. I have stayed at Arrowood hotels before and have always had a pleasant experience, but this time was unbelievable. I definitely will not be staying at this hotel again, nor will I recommend it to anyone.,
this is the e mail’s I sent them and not one reply back I called the gen manager not even a phone call back my date ended up with sick this last week with strep throat and I’ve hade throat congestion since then as well but we were both fine and full of energy Saturday on the way up there the only thing we could come up with is the bedding wasn’t clean we would have been better off with renting the cheapest hotel/motel in Alexandria, Minnesota for the evening to go and see the concert at the fair that weekend. I hope somebody reads this and chooses wisely. Thank you very much for taking your time. Arrowwood do better. You just bought this place a year...
Read moreWe went here for our son's 13th birthday and we overall had a great time. However, I'm always really bummed when water parks have strict hot tub rules. Our whole family enjoys downtime in the hot tub, especially after being cold from swimming in the chillier pools and going down water slides. For parents with younger kids, it's the only thing they can do to relax and sometimes it means having their kids with them. I totally get no one wants a bunch of younger kids playing in the hot tub, but as long as each child has a parent to watch them it should be allowed. Also, we didn't know that kids 12+ got a different wristband since no one asked our kids ages when they gave them to us so my son who just turned 13 that day got kicked out of the hot tub by a super strict life guard and he didn't understand why. I was just super annoyed by that whole thing. We still had a nice time but honestly would consider not going back since being able to relax in the hot tub is important to our family. Most of the staff were super kind and helpful and we...
Read moreOverall, the water park was a great experience! It was the perfect balance for our children aged 7 down to 3. The smaller children area was perfect with the two water slides, my children had a blast (once they warmed up to the area)! The lazy river was also a lot of fun as we spent countless trips going around and around! The only two downfalls were it was pretty chilly in the water area (we went in March) as there was quite a draft coming through the doors by the admissions desk. It made it pretty chilly when you weren't in the water and not enjoyable. The second issue is the park never seemed to have towels available when it said they were provided. Both days when we were at the park we had to wait for towels, the second day not even getting any and having to walk back to our hotel room with our children shivering and dripping wet. I would advise you bring your own towels to be safe! Overall, would definitely recommend to families with...
