Don't let this small church and associated structures tucked behind a community store fool you. Wonderful collection related to the culture and history of the immigration experience of Norwegian Americans, tracing the spread of this group through LaSalle County to Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota and beyond. The museum staff are friendly, knowledgeable and passionate. The museum itself is housed in the first Norwegian church in the area and is on the National Historic Register. Norsk Museum continues to evolve and improve so stop back if you haven't been there in a year or two. Well worth a stop for an hour or two on Saturday or Sunday June through September.
