Restaurant 5 star service. Anywhere outside of restaurant service zero stars. My family & I are frequent guest here. Visit the buffet almost monthly driving from Texas. I’ve always loved the seafood buffet & the employees who work there offer great customer service. The dinner buffet employees need to train the rest of the staff on customer service. I raved and begged my boyfriend to come to this place all year & was disappointed in how unfriendly the rest of the staff was outside of the restaurant . Spending hundreds of dollars at an establishment you would think top tier service & customer service would be crucial and provided. We are always greeted with friendly people at the dinner buffet but Sunday night was a night where I would change my mind about continuing to come here in the future. The ocean view from the room and views are beautiful. The seafood buffet is great. But when we visited the other staff at the other areas was a thumbs down. Basic, nonchalant attitudes like they didn’t want to be bothered or be at work. I smiled at one employee and got a blank stare back.maybe the restaurant managers need to hire the rest of the employees for the rest of the place. Smiled at a woman who was a late night attendant at one of the food places to buy chips and she didn’t even crack a smile or was warm or friendly. The room we had was absolutely Terrible like it shouldn’t have been sold. Floor was damp and room was stuffy and moldy, room on end of hall on 2nd floor, female housekeeper was Very rude & no smile no warmth nothing. Why do these people work in hospitality and they have terrible customer service to travelers who are spending hundreds at your establishment? That’s what makes us come back. I worked for Marriott hotels for over 5 years at front desk & in the sales department. I know what it means to provide top tier service. You all lacked it. Your restaurant staff needs to train everyone else in the whole place on customer service. There were 2 men Sunday night whom looked like Restuarant managers/leaders at Buffett dinner closing time and the pasta guy who made our pasta all deserve high fives even the female cashier who helped us both times we visited the buffet Sunday and Monday were very warm and friendly & hospitable. There was one man making funnel cakes lunch time Monday and he was great! But the rest of the hotel lacked everything it should. The room was the nastiest room with nasty things on the walls and mold in the shower ceiling. Just disgusting. We were too tired to complain after a 6 hour drive from Texas. Will never be back to stay at this hotel. The only thing I recommend is the seafood buffet. Please have your Buffett employees train the rest of your staff. Would be nice if there was a small grocery store or gas station close by. Beautiful location. Breath taking water views. My boyfriend played the tables and the female employee working the table was very rude and said smart remarks to him. If people are unhappy and don’t want to work in hospitality or customer service they should definitely be housekeepers instead or work back of house. This trip made me not want to come back for a while or maybe never. I have spent way too much money here for the disappointment I received here.

I was in town to participate in a fashion show. I checked into this hotel for a three day stay from February 24-26. The hotel is miles from the main highway. I had a nice Gulf and beach view. My room was nice in size. The shower is poorly designed. The half wall hides half the shower forcing you to get completely inside to turn on the water. There was a knocking noise from inside the wall all night. I dropped an earring on the floor next to my bed and noticed a three foot tear/rip in the carpet behind a chair. It was unnoticeable because a chair was strategically placed over the rip. There was dust in the corners and seams. I called the manager to report it and requested a room change. I was told the hotel was completely booked and there weren’t any more rooms (Friday at 3pm). I was sadly informed that they were aware of the damage to the carpet and it’s on the list for repair. I inquired as to why I wasn’t informed on checkin? and given another room option and can my room be discounted or comped. I was told no to both. My room was prepaid November 2022. When sitting outside numerous guests were arriving to check in to supposedly booked up rooms, but I couldn’t be moved into another room. Such poor service from this manager. I will not stay at the Silver Slipper on my next trip. I’m not sure as to the 63$ showing in the heading, my rate was higher per night for a non smoking King.

Didn't win much lol but we enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing. Rooms were subpar. We stayed here the day before and day of Thanksgiving this year 2023. The Thanksgiving buffet was top notch. The rest of the buffet was just okay it's a buffet lol

Stayed at the Silver Slipper RV Park. Did some gambling where we got free drinks. Had a sandwich in the restaurant with was fair. All the people working there was very nice and friendly.
