We drove out from Butte ...... Everything online... And the official website said it was open.... It is not..... We arrived on Monday during the Summer..... And it was closed...... Very disappointed!!!...... I LOVE Supporting small places like this ...... But before you make the trip..... Talk to a human who is there....... Not...

One of the best of it's size I've seen any where! Great utilization of WWII era building, great displays and creeky floors only add to the experience. The museum is never crowded (unfortunately, and generally not even a constant stream of visitors) so you are left in the quiet with your thoughts to contemplate...
