Community Park — Attraction in Missouri City

A beautiful park in Missouri City, TX with a small lake where most days you'll find people fishing and I've seen some good sized fishes caught. Also has a playground, basketball court, skateboard area, a walking trail and baseball and soccer fields, and more. And several gazebo areas for large-sized gatherings and benches all around the lake area. My one complaint not about the park but about some people who litter throwing bottles and trash out of their cars. The park has a good maintenance crew but they do not patrol it 24 hours a day.

UPDATE 4/7/22: I guess they've added some blue coloring to the lake which does give it a nice, refreshing look. BUT, yikes there was either a very very large snake or alligator swimming in the water today and I saw several people running away from that area. Please park attendants...

I really like the simplicity of this park. It seems it's mowed every Thursday. It's well maintained. The course is rarely busy. It would be awesome if the lower tree branches were trimmed off so it's easier to extract ill placed discs. But doubt that will happen. There are very few trash cans, so you should plan to take your trash with you and deposit some place else. Some park (non- disc golfers) participants don't seem to understand the concept of disc golf and wander around the course regardless if you're throwing at a pin. Beautiful park with great rental space. Nice plat grounds. A basketball court and pond. It's very clean and quiet. Plenty of parking space as well. Grass is always cut. But, is very close to the neighborhood. Most of the people do not like loud music. The people in the home will call the police for disturbing the peace. Aslo, Missouri City police do patrol the park frequently. It is also located near an elementary school with a very nice updated playground. Some of the pavilions do have restrooms attached.
