There are so many places to go in Lake Jacomo. Whether it's a picnic or hiking trails there is something for everyone. Seems like no meter the weather there are boats on the water which is fun to see. There's also tons of wildlife at Lake Jacomo if you're into bird watching or just want to see something wandering about.

My only complaint was with the campsite. The campsite manager was completely rude! I understand the park has to have rules but he was way over board. We tried to have a conversation about a few things and he started to raise his voice and was very rude. When we set up the reservations for our camper, we misunderstood the rules about how many tents we could have and I guess we had 1 to many tents up. We offered to pay extra for the tent and he blew up yelling we have to follow the rules. We had to then take down the tent and get a completely different site for the tent we had to take down.... across the camp ground. We wont be coming back bc of that. Lile I said, I understand rules are the rules, but come on. We tried to make it right and pay for the site just so we don't have to move the tent It was supposed to be a family weekend and we had to separate the family.... ...

I live near Fleming Park, in fact, I drive through it nearly every day. Very little has changed over the years and that's a good thing. The park is well maintained and very clean. There is fishing, boating, camping and swimming available to everyone. There are also game fields, archery and dog training areas, an Audubon center and a remote control plane field. Missouri Town 1855 is also in the park. There are plenty of shelters available for family reunions and parties. I love to drive over the dam at Lake Jacomo and see the geese, hawks, cormorants and even the turkey vultures. I have seen many a gorgeous sunrise and sunset over the lake. It is a beautiful,...

I have always loved this park. There are 2 marinas, one exclusively for sailboats at the south end of the lake. Many hiking trails, shelter houses, a bison and elk habitat, Old Missouri Town. Main marina has boat rentals, food, fishing supplies. There is a handicap fishing dock near the main marina. Several boat ramps around the lake. It is a low speed lake meaning only sailboats, paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, and power boats 10 hp or less. No water skiing, wave runners or jet skis. Nearby Blue Springs Lake allows all of the high...
