We travel all over for my husbands work and have stayed at many campgrounds in different states this is by far the best stay we’ve had at a campground all because of the campground hosts Chris and Janet I cannot say enough about how well they take care of the campground we went through some bad storms including tornado warnings they were always there making sure the campers were safe by warning us of impending weather and making sure we all made it to the shelter when the tornadoes sirens went off in the midddle of night. First thing the next morning Chris was out picking up and clearing all the limbs and debris for the safety of everyone. The restroom/shower house and laundry facilities are always clean and sanitized they work very hard and it was very much appreciated. To top it all off they were the kindest campground hosts our family has encountered, they will stop and visit to make sure all is well and an absolute blessing towards our little girl she had a lot of fun with them. We look forward to staying whenever we...

The campsites are very well kept and the management was very nice and always on site. The sites each have electrical outlets and water spouts so even if you are tent camping you still can have access to those things, and there is a public bathroom that has showers and laundry. They also sell ice and firewood right at the camp site. All of the amenities are very convenient and everyone was very nice but the sites are very close together and definitely not in the woods. They are on an open field with a view of a football field and the road, and there were a lot of families there and all campfires had to be put out by 8 so if you are looking to be "one with nature" or to stay up late this probably isn't the site for you. My only actual complaint is that they say they are dog friendly, which they are, but this is limited to the campsite and dogs are not allowed in the lake or at any of the activities or rentals available there. If a place to park your RV is what you're looking for then this place...

Camp hosts are amazing, great people! The park is nice and well maintained, only bad thing is a few cottonwood trees that as you know throw cotton every where in the spring! Be nice if they would would honor some type of discount but well worth the stay! Edit and reduced rating! So stayed here again in october, camp host great but they have increased prices! Seriously $5 to wash and dry a load of clothes in the old ass washers and dryers (for both not each)?could under stand the increase if they were new but Jeesh city must be desperate, water pressure sucks, weird shaped water hook ups make getting a tight fit impossible unless you bring adapters. Levelness of spot was horrendous! Very disappointed, probably wont...

Pros: The camp hosts were very friendly. They had a scavenger hunt for the kids. The bathrooms were very clean. Cons: The sites were very close together. It felt more like a parking lot than a campsite. Our site (#7) and our friend's site (#9) was a mess. They left a huge pile of dirt around the sewer hookup. There were huge clumps of dirt and tree roots sticking out. My daughter tripped and got stabbed in the hand by a tree root. It rained the second night we were there and it was a muddy mess. Other campgrounds we have stayed at were nearly half the price and much nicer. Plus they tried to charge us an additional $20 for extra vehicles.
