OMG! I want to address the 2 negative reviews and put them to rest. First, Treecourt Unleashed is private property, and the owner does an incredible job of making sure that overly aggressive dogs are restricted. If a dogs behavior is questionable, he must error on the side of safety. And for that I am grateful. Second, $30 a month is nothing compared with what Treecourt offers, and I would gladly pay double that amount. There are acres of well manicured meadows, shade trees, woods and trails, with fresh water throughout. There’s a rock-bottom wading pond with fresh water continuously flowing into it (Wayne always freshens it up a bit after the big guys scatter the pea gravel surrounding it), plus 2 little pools and a very shallow wading pool for the little guys, all three with fresh water continuously flowing. And where there are minor holes in the dirt trails, Wayne applies pea gravel so we’re not walking in any mud after it rains. Can you imagine what it costs in land and upkeep? Since joining 2 months ago, we’re there nearly every day, and my two dogs are happier and healthier than ever before, physically and emotionally. And just like humans, you might expect that there would be a dog “disagreement” from time to time, but I’ve only seen a little scuffle once. Most of the dogs, big and small, get along beautifully. I am so grateful to Wayne for providing such wonder place for dogs. So if you’re looking for a “free” place to bring your dogs so that you can sit and read a book and not pick up your dogs poop—DON’T come here!!!! But if you want an amazing place where you can play with you dogs off leash, and watch them run happily through a meadow with other dogs, and wade in a clear pond and little pools, then run thru the meadow and jump in the pools again, or follow a peaceful trail through some woods, and have your dogs be loved-on by other humans, please come join us at Treecourt. Call and schedule an appointment. It’s truly the best $30 you’ll ever spend! By the way, the water contains sulfur. It’s smells a little, but it’s terrific—totally clean and it’s a natural tick repellent,...
Read moreI have belonged to Treecourt Unleashed Dog Adventure since the day it opened and hope that it will always be available in the future. There have been several expansions since it opened and it only gets better. We spoil our dogs by bringing them here, but they are so much the better for having the privilege of enjoying the park and time with the other wonderful dogs.
My first dog did not do well in a social environment so I had to find something else for her to do. The two that I have now, a mixed Jack Russell female and a mixed Cavalier are very well adjusted and love this park. We attend daily where we find ample water holes for drink, pools for those that love to be in water, hills to climb for more cardiac exercise and multiple areas that have been added to increase their adventurous curiosity. A small mineral water pool in the back sections is always a popular place for the dogs to take a quick jump into after running with their friends.
Wayne (owner) is very diligent about keeping the vaccinations current on the dogs. The cost is only slightly over $1.00/day. I can waste more money on unnecessary things and not have the enjoyment that this park brings my four legged friends an me. I like the fact that the park is private for better control of the dogs that come in. The dogs are greeted initially and observed by Wayne to determine if a dog is socially acceptable for the members dogs. Public parks do not provide that and having been to a few public parks that can create a problem. I also like the fact that Wayne is always present for any issue that may need to be addressed.
The members understand that cleaning up after their four legged friends is essential. There are numerous bags/trashcans around to allow the members easy convenience to clean up. We have a clean park as a result.
Keep up the great work Wayne, members and our four...
Read moreIt's by far the best dog park in the area. Over 8 gorgeous acres of open play areas (expansion in progress!), 95% of which are well-manicured grass lawns with lots of shade trees, surrounded by a maintained walking trail for human exercise, benches and picnic tables where owners can rest and enjoy each other. 3 lovely spring-fed dog pools with easy access for all sizes and a beautiful hand-crafted pond circulate clean, ice cold water so dogs never overheat or play in dirty water. There are also water pumps throughout the park with bowls for fresh drinking water all year long.
Best of all, Treecourt is a vetted dog park and dogs must pass muster as vaccinated, safe and friendly before they are admitted byTreecourt's experienced and knowledgeable owner. As there are dogs of all sizes and ages, if after a period of adjustment, a dog continues to play too aggressively and members complain, Wayne will ask the owner to seek further training for it before seeking reentry to the park. (Generally a dog is allowed three strikes.) This is to insure the dog park is a low-key, peaceful, fun and safe experience for all.
Without a lot of heavy handed "rules", Treecourt is a caring community of responsible dog owners who monitor their dog's health and behavior so that everyone -- dogs included--can freely enjoy all its great green areas! A natural oasis. Can't recommend it...
