I've enjoyed this park a few times in the past and really enjoyed that it's large with big green areas, the lake is gorgeous to just sit and enjoy and they do have a pavilion and a playground.

Most recently I came here specifically because they have a short, well shaded, flat walking path. It's paved and wide and amazing! The basic path it just about a mile and you can go from one parking lot to the other/boat ramp. This short path was very relaxing and mainly wooded with some peeks through to the lake. They also have more extensive bike paths for the bike riders.

I highly recommend this for a nice walking path or a get together...

I enjoy coming here to fish, but there is definitely work that needs to be done to make this lake better.

Most of the land-accessible waterfront is SHALLOW and completely riddled with sticks and rubbish (likely from flooding). I fear this lake is steadily getting silted in.

A bit of dredging and cleanup and this would be an amazing fishing lake. There's a lot of activity, and I always catch at least SOMETHING.

Many people kayak and boat on the lake and it looks peaceful and relaxing. I'd like to get a small boat out there to try fishing the opposite side of the lake (which appears...

This place was packed today.

The parking lot is big, but it not laid out well. One big vehicle can ruin it for everyone.

I stopped by here to see there was any photography opportunities. There are you just have to wait when it isn’t busy.

There were people kayaking on the lake, which is something I never seen before.

The playground was open for the kids to play on. I assume it was good condition for the kiddos to play on.

The bathrooms were open, but I didn’t check them out.

There is bike / walking path that goes through the park. It connects to several others...

The park is well maintained and has two trails by a beautiful lake. You can bring your non-motorized floatation device and set sail in the waters or even go fishing if have the equipment and a license. Beware though, there are warnings out there saying the waters have been infested with Asian carp, although I'm not sure why it's all bad. I've never fished on this continent nor have I researched enough on this topic. May I should. The park is beautiful and has a tiny play area for the kids too. Swing by for a nice picnic sometime and you'll like your time there.

That is a green park to relax. It's located in the outskirts of St. Louis. It's far for people who live in downtown St. Louis. The place is intended for people who live around the neighborhood. There is a river besides the park and you can kayak in the river. There are many trees in the park. It is a good place for family with dogs and children. But the bathroom is closed and there is a porta potty for both gender which is dirty.

Wonderful park that is a hidden gem. Paved trail that is mostly shaded that goes about 1/2 way around the lake about 1.6 miles out and back. Restrooms on site as well as a playground. There is also the ability to rent kayaks, paddleboats, and other small boats to go onto the kake. This park also has a connection to the Meramac Geenway to both directions to Greentree Park and the trailhead near Arnold Grove.
