Balancing Rock — Attraction in Moapa Valley

This is a great short hike that gives you an awesome appreciation for what Mother Nature can create. The trail is easy but handicap accessible. There can be lizards found on the trail. We were lucky to not have a single person on the trail with us despite the parking lot being quite full. Make sure to bring a hat, sturdy shoes, sunscreen, and sunglasses.

We parked in the lower parking lot and looked for the quickest trail up to the balancing rock. There are a couple options.

There is a second small trail behind the visitor center. The small trail leads to an area used for small weddings or nature talks. It is a grand cathedral of rocks at the end by the benches. There were a great mixture of birds and plants on this...

It's a quite small balanced the rock. The view is okay. The view from the trail is that impressive. Might get a better view...

You see it at the visitor center so no special trip is needed. No actual balancing, the top layer looks like it is shifting...
