Visiting Grand Canyon West is an experience you’ll never forget! The views are absolutely incredible—the size and beauty of the canyon are beyond what you can imagine from pictures. One of the coolest parts is the Skywalk, where you get to walk out on a glass bridge over the canyon. It’s exciting and a little scary, but the view is totally worth it!
Everything is well-organized, with shuttles that take you to different lookout points. The staff is really friendly and helpful, always happy to share interesting facts about the area. Make sure to check out Eagle Point and Guano Point—both have amazing views, especially Guano Point where you can see the canyon in every direction. It’s a great spot for photos!
There’s also a lot of interesting history here. You can learn about Native American culture through exhibits and live performances, which adds a special touch to the visit and helps you appreciate the deep connection the local tribes have with the land.
Keep in mind that this area isn’t part of the national park, so you’ll need to pay a fee to get in. But trust me, it’s worth it! If you can, go early in the day to beat the crowds and enjoy the views in cooler weather. You could easily spend the whole day exploring, taking in the views, and learning about the history. It’s a must-see for anyone who loves nature or just wants to experience one of the world’s...
Read moreIt is definitely a natural wonder that must be seen—very impressive. However, in some aspects, it has become quite a commercial center. You need to pay an additional fee to enter the Skywalk at Eagle Point, and you are not allowed to bring any belongings inside (including your phone). Guano Point offers much more beautiful views and is a stop where you can freely take photos. I absolutely do not recommend entering the Skywalk because you can take much better photos both from its surroundings and from Guano Point as you wish.
There is also a restaurant on the upper floor of the Skywalk at Eagle Point with a pretty good view. There might be a bit of a wait, but I definitely think it’s a much better alternative to the Skywalk itself.
Overall, this place is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and everyone...
