This was an amazing experience. Seeing the dress designed by Jaer Caban the same designer that made the dress for Ms Universe Pageant representing Puerto Rico was amazing. So Proud of the town where my family lives, and of the beauty hidden within the creative arts of the Artisian's behind the world of Mundillo. The inspiration is breathtaking. The baby clothes and doll dresses are phenominal. The men's Traditional Guallabera's was exquisite. Definitely a site to visit. Read moreMuseo del Mundillo is a must stop for all crafting people loving needle arts. The Mundillo is a very traditional Puerto Rican technique typical from Moca city. This embroidery-like technique was adapted from Spain by Puerto Ricans and the oldest donated artwork is from 1896!
The museum is located at the downtown. You can park around the plaza and walk to the site.
I was amazed by all the donated beautiful crafted pieces. The best part is that the entrance is free! We also took a short intro class at the site of how to do the "Moca Mundillo pattern". I love it!
