As times have been a bit rough, I buy my wine on a criteria of three, alcohol content, volume and price. 11.5 %, 1.5L, 6-7$.. well, you can't beat that. What led me to this review was the quality I got for this price. As I took my first sip, of course the body is first noticed, pinot Grigio for those interested, wonderful medium body with absolute presence, balanced with acidity, followed with a tart but sweet finish and on the back note? Apple! I could actually taste the tart, sweet finish of fresh apple in this wine. I was taken a bit aback as the wines I've been drinking, Oak leaf, Franzia, have required a but of force to keep getting down, but this particular wine was a pleasure. The afore mentioned wines carried notes of.. pre processed and preserved fruit.. very difficult to palate at times.. like cheap junk food. This was a fantastic experience, and as their slogan goes, they are really making quality wines accessible....
