Great park with a surprisingly large landscape for a small-town park! Walking trails, fitness course, lots of shady picnic tables and pavilions, large pond with fountain, rose garden, large disk golf course, horseshoe pits, soccer fields, playground, tennis/pickleball courts, basketball court, volleyball net (the neighboring Y has the net if it's not already up), and that YMCA is right there along with the city golf course next to the main park. Read moreOverall this is a very nice park, plenty of picnic areas, a large pond with wildlife, and a decent playground. A few pieces of play equipment need repaired or replaced, the big marago round is missing some of its handle bars. I don't know the name of the other equipment, but I do have a picture of it attached. The whole park is nearly spotless, only a few small pieces of trash seen. We had family reunions here until the older generations passed, and the younger ones had families of their own. The July 4th fireworks are still a family tradition, and I bring my kids and grandkids here when we get the chance to sit and enjoy the beauty all around us.
