Atwood Lake Park is a great place to stay with plenty of things to do! Plenty of hiking and biking trails, pickle ball court, basket ball, swim beach and an activity center. Located directly across from the beach road and between the two main camping areas is the hiking trail and parking lot for the observation deck. There are several paths you can take to the observation deck, but this is probably the closest you will be able to park at. There is a gravel trail near the vacation cabins that you could ride your bike on as this leads to a service area. The observation deck hiking trail is steep, but it is short. The deck is a steel structure about three stories tall. From the top you get a great view of the camping area and the surrounding lake. I was there on a very windy day and I could feel a little sway in the structure... which adds to the excitement!
