First, the berries are delicious: ripe, sweet and big. Slugs love them too, so they got the best ones 'cause they were there first, but whatever was left was good too) Rather crowded on a good-weather weekend, even at the opening, but lots of berries still, easy to pick. Parking is somewhat limited to the curbside, but it was ok, still very short walk to the field and the checkout. Only giving 4 stars because the farm's Facebook page says they follow the social distancing guidelines and ask people to wear masks, but maybe 2/3 wear masks, and barely anyone concerned about staying 6 feet away while in line to checkout. Yes, the owners don't have control over visitors wearing or not wearing masks, but the owners didn't wear the masks themselves. The moment I walked in to the checkout area, the lady-owner jumped at my face with no mask to give me the directions. Ehm, I didn't appreciate that. No distance at all. And they have Lysol wipes on the tables, but they don't wipe their phone after the previous person touched it to sign. Not the end of the world, but if you're coronavirus-concerned, maybe not your place. At least, not on a weekend for sure.

Picked strawberries with my grandson. New crop so the plants were small....but each plant had a couple large, red, juicy strawberries. They are delicious!!! We will be back next year. Very low key, simple farm but very good strawberries and nice folk.

Great farm for u-pick berries. Really nice owners and fun experience! Got a lot of yummy berries and you can tell they are organic because the fields are a mix of strawberries and pretty flowering weeds.

Took family to pick berries at Bolles today - excited to see organic berries advertised. I trust that the berries are organic - it's quite clear that the strawberry patch is ZERO-input. However, it also appears that ZERO effort has been made as well. Buttercup and prickly weeds have completely choked out strawberries throughout the entire patch. Most places it was difficult to tell where the rows were, leading to squashed berries everywhere. Plants were very difficult to access through snarls of weeds and even ripe berries were rotten and diseased deep in the weeds. Still, cars were lined up along the road and scores of people were out trying to pick berries in this mess, bringing half-flats of pathetic looking berries up to the checkout after an hour or more of hunting for decent fruit. Will never...
