Broers Farm — Attraction in Monroe

Nice farm, very neat: from the fields to the parking. Two varieties of strawberries, both organic, available, though we only picked one, Shuksan I think is the name. The berries are small but delish, sweet and smell amazing! Very easy to pick too, because they grow in rows, and not too many weeds there. Fields are well maintained, not crowded on a weekday. First time picking strawberries in WA. Never knew American strawberries could be so delicious, because the store-bought kind are sure not!

There were two varieties from which to choose: Shuksan and Rainier. We like the Shuksan variety better; they are as sweet and fragrant as the kind we used to eat in Korea.
