North East Park — Attraction in Monroe

Northeast park is a small community park in the northeast part of Monroe. There is a ball diamond, tennis courts, and a nice playground for the kids. The sand volleyball court that sees a little use. The parking lot allows for about 25 cars before you have to park on the street. The shelter has bathrooms and plenty of picnic tables. There is a nice blacktop path that leads to the lighted tennis courts. It's too bad that there isn't a path that goes to 4th Street to the parking area that would connect the parking lot to the north end of the park at ball diamond.

Great neighborhood park that is a little tucked away. Park has approximately 30 parking stalls, pavilion with picnic tables and restrooms, playground, swings, ball diamond with bleachers, sand volleyball court, and three tennis courts.
