Green County Fairgrounds — Local services in Monroe

We went to the Balloon and aBlues Festival at the Green County Fairground. The event itself was mostly a bust since on Friday night it was deemed to be too windy to fly the balloons which was the sole reason we went. However, we are glad they kept safety as the rule. My disappointment was the grounds themselves. I use a cane and the grounds themselves are not really assessible at all. There us very little paved area and the ground is very uneven with holes that my cane would get caught in. 7/2024 updated review- last years was great this years fair over priced waste of money the lines for the rides youll be waiting in hour as midway didnt open the second line for some the rides they only had 2 decent rides better saving your money and going to the pecatonicia fair.

AS A VENDOR WE WERE TREATED HORRIBLY! WE TRAVEL YEARLY TO OVER 10 COUNTY FAIRS AND GREEN COUNTY TREATED US THE WORST!. WE HAVE SET UP A 20 X 20 SET UP FOR THEIR FLEA MARKET AND PAST FAIRS FOR THEM. WHEN WE WENT TO SET UP WE WERE OFFERED A 10X20 SPACE WHICH IS TOO SMALL FOR OUR SET UP. NOT TO MENTION WE WERE PLACE OFF THE MAIN FAIR STREETS. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!
