Oaks of Righteousness Christian Ministries — Attraction in Monroe

Oaks of righteousness did great things for me. At one point in time they were my rock until I found Solid Ground, but I just have to share because I feel like I just experienced a failure in the church. I don't know if it was pastors husband or who it was, but I came from out of town with some things to donate that were given to me by a family member 2 take to the church . I pulled up to the Village and As I was figuring out what to do with it where I was supposed to place it, I did see Pastor gave her a hug and she showed me where to place it. I went through the donations and found ones that I felt like we're garbage. I put all the donations I felt appropriate in the donation box. I then drove a few feet to the dumpster to throw away the donations I felt were not appropriate. My intentions was just to give the church something good and with all the work I know those people do oh, I felt I was saving them the trouble of throwing away the garbage myself. Now I know working with the church and the people you deal with is difficult. I know that end of town can be exhausting. I moved out of Monroe because it is fiercely demonic. I am disappointed in the way I was just treated by I believe the pastor's husband. He approached me as I was throwing away the bad donations, which was so minor. He had an aggressive and hostile to demeanor, And he looked exhausted. I can only imagine what he is used to dealing with but He treated me as if I was scum trying to use his dumpster. When I tried to have a civil dialogue he rushed away and wouldn't even speak to me. to him I want to say I forgive you and as a sister in Christ I love you, but when you treat people like that sir you make them lose faith in the church. I went here with a friend. The parking was a little off. There were no handicap spots available by the doors so we did have to unload my wheelchair in a back area not close to doors. The people here were really nice , friendly and very caring. It was very easy to feel welcomed. I am in wheelchair and did have one person try to run into me to make me stop and let them by but I do not think this was a person who worked there.Everyone there as well as teens who helped and children did an awesome job making us feel welcomed without judging needs.
