SAFETY CONCERN- MY daughter and her kindergarten class took a field trip here and tragedy struck. The jump pad was NOT anchored into the ground. Not ONE steak was in the ground. One side of the pad went 5 feet in air with about 25 students on it-two of which were my children. Myself and my husband had to intervene to prevent the the unimaginable. Had we not been there and God, the entire pad would have gone in the air due to the high winds. Several parents and workers ran to help stretch the pad back out and secure it down on the ground. Not one staff member apologized The lady running the activity, later told us that she had only been working 3 days and wasn't aware that the pad needed to be anchored. Several children were hurt and thrown around and one face planted face first into the ground. The paramedics and rescue squads were called to assist and examine injuries. There were several schools in attendance and children were hurt from different schools. It was a horrifying experience to witness. The owners were the worst part of the experience outside of the unimaginable that occurred. When he arrived on scene he was trying to accuse the children of lying opposed to taking accountability for being negligent. His wife walked of and never addressed anyone. He made one child cry by trying to access her injuries himself. Next, the owner volunteered to call his friend who was a nurse to evaluate the remaining children. He told us that the students probably. had headaches from being in the sun. The owner also told me as a parent, he would wait to take my daughter to the hospital, because he hates hospitals. He said that's what he would do if it were him. Very saddened by this incident and the lack of accountability and respect exhibited by the owners of the...
Read moreAlthough this place is nice and has a lot to offer, (And yes, I’ve read your website. I do not agree with it) I find it ridiculous to have to pay $15 to $20 a person to enter this farm….. Just to enter and stand in lines to watch your kids. Even if you are the parent and not participating in any of the activities. This doesn’t include the food and drink prices. Nor does it include the strawberry picking. If you want to spend a chunk of change for a family of 4 or 5 you might as well go to the aquarium or Dollywood by the time you leave this farm you easily spend $100 to $200. We’ve visited many farms in SC, NC, and some in GA and none of them are quite this expensive. I’ve read the comments from other reviews left that this is the cheapest compared to most. It’s really not sadly. We loved to support local places like this and we do understand the cost of living is insane and upkeep takes money also the expenses for employees but it seems a little unfair to have parents and grandparents pay $20 to watch their child or grandchildren to go down the slide or to do activities even if you don’t participate and to not get the food, drinks, or strawberries. After all inflation is hitting a lot of us hard. Lastly, if you purchase a ticket online you have to release permission to allow them to take pictures of your children or videos of them for their website or social media. I don’t mind some background pics but I’m not okay with my toddler or child being the face of a main picture for the social media page or website just because I had to check off the box to purchase the tickets. Some of us are not okay with this. We get the legal side of the farm covering their butts but there should be an option if you...
Read moreUpdate fall 2023 Columbus day: This was such a great day out. I contacted the office to see if there are any days with no field trips. Aside from holidays and weekends, they have field trip days every weekday. Columbus day was different because families/parents have their children behave. We loved the cow ride carts, bubble station, zipline, petting animal area. I would continue to recommend more shaded areas, water station, at least one healthy food option because outside food is not allowed.
Fall season review 2022: My 4 year old enjoyed the fall attractions. The park looks well maintained and overall it was a good day out. I think the park falls short in a few thing. Some major attractions are closed on the weekdays like the sunflower field, corn maze. Etc. If I'm paying $30 dollars for this experience it is worth to get to see some flowers. Another suggestion is providing a little more shaded area, especially near the slides. Also a map at the front of the entrance would be nice. When I arrived on a Thursday I expected it to be quiet for my 1 year old to explore but instead there were hoards of elementary kids. Like 300+ trampling over everything. I couldn't go to one place without them. Even the baby/toddler zone was full of them. The classes expect that they get to go as a group to attractions even if there are people in front of them. Maybe designating 3 days for the field trips would be wiser. I think in general 1:30 closing time is pretty early. I would have easily stayed until 3:30 since we have nearly an hour drive over. We really enjoyed enjoyed the laidback/nice staff. The animal petting are was fun.The pumpkins were $1/lb and had a...
