To start with I have always loved this place. Have gone there since I was a young child. It has been probably 15 years since I've been there last and have only had good memories of this place. I'm grown now with 2 kids now. My husband had never been there and neither had my kids. So for once we got out and went to the house of mystery! I walked inside to ask when the next tour was and it was in 20 minutes so I went back outside to take pictures with the family. Here's where the negative part starts... My son being 4 is very curious and can't read obviously. He's generally very careful. He touched a crystal on display that said do not touch and I hadn't noticed. Well the owner lady did and kind of started her attitude there. "Don't touch that... I know you probably can't read but don't touch that." Not too bad but getting a bad vibe... So we go to purchase our tour and while we wait we look around. She's watching my son like a hawk as if we couldn't and he's right by my side under my complete supervision. Then OMG there's a few clumps of dirt on the floor and she's asking my husband to kick his shoes on the rug, checking them and sweeping it up. Well it wasn't him... Her husband the tour guide actually did it. Big deal anyways... So she started to get weird. Then we went through the tour and experienced the vortex house a bit more. We all had a good time. As we were leaving I was feeding my 5month old daughter so we were kind of just hanging out walking slowly to go back inside and leave. My son... Yes a boy god forbid stomped on dirt next to a tree.. probably saw ants and pulled a leaf out of the planted area right next to him. They look like weeds to me but apparently they're plants... Whatever. So this owner lady seriously was stalking us as it seemed from like 100 ft away or more and starts screaming at him... "Stop stop! He's stomping the plants! Ahh! Seriously!!!?" In a very grumpy distressed voice. Took all I had not to give her a piece of my mind. Mommy protective mode here. So we left. So if u have young children it's apparently not kid friendly and she might rip your throat out if u walk wrong. Very rude woman. I feel sorry for her husband. He was nice. I guess we're not the only ones that she has been very verbally rude with for no reason. She needs meds badly. OCD to the max and obviously has never had kids because no mother or grandmother would ever be like that with kids. So a cool place but not so cool owner. Our experience was overall ruined by her and we won't be back. Even though we are local! I'm determined to tell everyone I know about this. The vortex is super...

We decided to take our 11 & 14 year old here, and to be honest after our ‘welcome’ should have just left. So we paid for tickets at counter, looked around gift shop waiting the 20 mins til our tour. Decided we should all used restroom about 5 mins before tour, followed the sign that took us out back to a porch and to the loo. I was waiting for my youngest son to finish up in washroom and the front til lady opened back door and was yelling we aren’t allowed to be there, I explained we were just waiting for someone in washroom. She said it doesn’t take 3 of you to wait for one person. Uh ok....couldn’t understand the big deal as we were literally on a outside porch, so as my husband and one son walked to door the tour guide walked up and asked if we were on next tour to which my husband confirmed we were. He said ok, we are almost ready to go, wait here and he went in door. At this point I had other son and was standing with my family waiting for the guide to come back. She comes out again and yelled that obviously she didn’t make it clear get inside. Husband explained the man just told us to wait here. She yelled I don’t care get inside. We are super put off by this but walk in door. As we walk in, tour guy is coming and he said, please go outside we are getting started. Anyways tour commenced and yes it was touristy, but it was a pleasant hour and the guide genuinely seemed to enjoy his job. We ended up leaving 15 mins early as we were heading whitewater rafting next, and as we walked back through gift shop overhead this lady arguing with a lady that she doesn’t need her dog pissing all over her store. The lady was explaining its a registered guide dog, didn’t hear all of conversation but just heard lady saying get your dog out of here. Anyways, the start and finish was terrible, but the actual tour was fun enough especially for my younger son. Of all the things to do in glacier area I’d suggest maybe taking a pass on this stop unless you like being berated by a miserable lady who really needs to retire or...

This was a wonderful experience! I stopped by this past on a whim during a solo motorcycle road trip to glacier np. First off Joe was an amazing tour guide. It is obvious that he is passionate about energy, metaphysics, and most importantly he has a broad knowledge of some of the current scientific understanding around quantum mechanics giving his knowledge a level of digestibility to the scientifically minded skeptic. I do admit that I entered this experience already a believer of the invisible world of energy due to my experiences and sensitive nature however I think this sort of thing should be experienced by everyone.

Pros: The demonstrations were profound and wonder inducing. They provided concrete examples of the interaction between fields of energy and our own energy field. It was pretty cool watching people learn to perceive their energy field for the first time. One of the most visually intriguing demonstrations was seeing people shrink in front of my eyes although feeling the energy was already enough for me. After the tour I walked the labyrinth and then stood in one of the vortices where I had a pretty big energetic release(aka emotional purging) where I even shed some tears.

Cons: Not many. I don't mean to cherry pick because I know that there is so much more here than tricks or optical illusions but the ramp in the house of confusion was a few degrees below level. I don't mention this to discredit the effect or suggest that this is intentional, but if you are going to leave a level in there for people then you may want to make sure that is corrected because a non- believer is likely to believe that the following demonstrations are tricks.

Thanks for a profound experience! I will definitely be bringing my partner next time we are...

I had seen this on social media and saved it to my google maps locations. While vacationing at Flathead lake made this one of our stops. Arrived 10mins before opening and waited for tour. Staff are extremely nice and pleasant to talk with. So lots of souvenirs available in the gift shop. Our guide for the tour was well spoke and very entertaining and enthusiastic about the experience. Detailed and informative discussion about the vortex that is centred at the house. Walking into the house it’s hard to explain and is a much experience. Tried all of the stations they recommended to get the feeling of the vortex. Would recommend for anyone in the area to make this a stop on their vacation.

Since having heard of the Montana Vortex, I had planned on visiting to experience it for myself. I'll admit, I half expected to feel and seeing nothing I couldn't explain away -- this was not the case. It was truly an awesome and perplexing in experience which you have to experience yourself to understand what I'm getting at. Perhaps my favorite experience was my brief chat with the owner, Joe. I expressed to him my reasons for visiting and my long having wanted to do so. He, in turn, showed me an amazing photo from Washington which blew my mind. Joe is a great guy and I enjoyed our conversation immensely. He asked me to come back and I most certainly will.
