Soldiers Chapel — Attraction in Montana

My husband and I had an amazing experience here. He is a retired after 20 years in the Air Force. With both of our backgrounds and the day we met and were married (September 11th) we knew this was the place for us. I was a little bothered by the fact that anyone can get married here especially athiests and those who do not support or respect our military men and women. Oh my! Where to begin? Soliders Chapel in Big Sky Mointana served as the location for our recent wedding. The groom, a Vietnam era veteran, was overcome upon entering the sanctuaryand prayed for all his brothers, living and dead. Realizing this structure opened when I was five years old, and has stood there in those magnificant mountains all these years made our wedding most special. This is a very nice chapel with a beautiful background of the mountains directly behind it. If you're visiting, I highly recommend just driving by and perhaps even stopping in. It's a great spot for pictures!!
