A lot of history to see here. And I'm specifically talking about the redwoods that grow here. The roots for some of these trees are massive and that's evidence of how many centuries these trees have existed. The canopy is tall and provide plenty of shade and the forest floor is something to enjoy for 10 minutes our so. I mean, take some time to find a spot to sit with your loved one, family, friends and enjoy a moment amongst these massive greats. How many times can you say you had a chance to sit with something that's 2+ centuries old.

You can drive through a bit further and pay the entrance fee, and go into the park for day use, etc. We at at some picnic tables at a day use site, and walk around on the trails a bit, afterward.
