If you're looking for something to do on a Saturday morning, stop by and walk around the Burlington Agricultural Center. You can also check their website for any bands that might be playing that day or cooking demonstrations you could attend. With farm fresh produce and artesan vendors, I had to rate my day there a 4 mainly due to some of the pricing. Some are definitely worth their asking prices, and some are not. There were some very large floral baskets when we first walked in, which were well worth their price. If you don't see one that you want or it's sold you can visit their nearby stand. Handmade brooms were available for sale and we had the pleasure of seeing one made. Kale seemed to be in abundance that day and eveyone seemed to have similar prices. Other produce I feel you might do better at your local stands. Even though everyone was buying up the strawberries I thought the price was high and later found them elsewhere for half the price. If you're into eating ramen, check out the handmade ramen bowls we located inside the tent. Food and drinks are available for purchase. My group purchased the baked potatoes with cheese and broccoli for 10.00. I can make a meal out of a baked potato, but this looked nothing like picture. After one bite it was in the trash. I found it to be salty and it appeared any broccoli was blended into the cheese sauce. This place is also pet friendly so bring your...
Read moreProduce, seafood, ice cream, oh my! This quaint farmers market has maybe 50 vendors or so and is an indoor-outdoor farmers market on a working farm. To the right side of the property is a Burlington county Park plots of community cared for gardens, which allows people to purchase a plot to work as a little garden... Really cute and interesting to see what people grow. The barn houses several produce farms, fruit farms, cheese compan, and chocolate company, soaps, jewelry and doggie bakery, hot food station and several bakeries. Outside is more produce, local distillery, cider and Mead company, a succulent plants, seafood, soaps, jewelry, ice cream, grilled meats and sandwiches, and more! Live music and happy people make this a must see! Only reason for 4 stars is because several of the vendors we bought from were either rude or awkward (like 'well, it's the last one' which promoted us to ask 'is it for sale then?') very weird exchanges and they weren't young, where I might forgive not knowing how to interact with public 😂🤣 The Mead and Cider company were extremely nice and I look forward to my bottle of high test (lol) passion fruit cider and...

Keep your expectations realistic. Can't compare to prices with cheap grocery stores. It's just not the same products. These are way higher quality even better dare I say than some Whole Foods stuff?
Coffee is good. Some vendors are not there sometimes. But the mushroom guy is phenomenal. Can't believe he has lions mane. And of course baked goods are delish. Two keto options and two non-keto vendor options. Can you believe it? And those keto dudes with the cheesecake brownie are on point.
We usually walk around the community gardens beforehand if the vendors aren't quite ready. Rutgers has demo plots and the community folk are doing well with their gardens!!! Each week the kids are learning how plants grow and what they look like in different phases.
