Read moreIt was interesting you can also use a zip line and mini golf after the tour. I didnt give it 5 stars because 1. The tour is not worth the price! $9 per adult and $7 for kids under 12. ( id suggest $5 per person) this $9 pricr does not include rhe extra fun at the zip or golf. 2. Also a biggie is they have to many people in a your! (Evident of corporate/owner greed here) the rooms they brought us in were small as it is but toss in to many adults! We were crammed packed in there against the back wall as per instructions like sardines! *note if you have neck pain, slipped or herniated disc, bad knees or ankles do not go in the tour! Standing at the back wall you naturally stand at a slant so this puts a strain on your joints. Tell your kids to raise their hand and volunteer when asked so they are ready and not shy about it. Lol I also did not like having to walk back through the gift store to leave. It was crowded and hardly no room to move because 1. Its already small, 2. People are going in to buy tickets, 3 people are shopping, 4. People leaving are also now shopping!. On a positive side the employees are...
Read moreTourist trap. The mystery tour is a quick trip through a house designed to create an optical illusion. Everyone played along but it seemed a bit silly. We paid extra for the maze which my 7 year old solved in under 5 minutes.
My biggest beef came at the end at the gift shop. My daughter picked out the mystery bag labeled girl. She used her allowance money on it. It was filled with cheap plastic bugs. She was in tears. We asked if we could exchange it and were told very curtly that we could not. My daughter was openly distraught and crying. They didn’t care. I get that there is a risk in buying a mystery bag. But why label it by gender if you aren’t including things traditionally liked by girls?
I understand this is a very specific grievance but it speaks to their level of care. Past behavior is the biggest indicator of future performance.
While we we shopping I heard the workers joking about taking steroids. Mostly kids working here.
All in all this left a bad taste in my mouth in this place and this town. Unlikely to come here again after being overcharged all week for...
