It is hard to know how many stars to rate this museum after our visit. Six of us visited the museum and the docent gave us a tour. We would have liked a little bit more information from the tour but maybe our group was not the norm in this regard. The museum is not large but it does have quite a few items which are unique. We appreciated seeing a replica of the Wright flyer from Kitty hawk. Our docent came from a long line of flyers; both his father and his grandfather were military pilots as well as himself. If the museum could expand into a third hangar with some more planes, then I think I might rate it 5 stars. If you really want to see a lot of aircraft, and aircraft from the second World War to the present, I recommend Castle Air...

The volunteer staff were all super friendly and knowledgeable, and I got a tour of not only the museum but also some of the aircraft restoration areas and got to talk to the people there too!
