Asticou Azalea Garden Parking — Attraction in Mount Desert

The Asticou Azalea Garden is a lovely, Japanese-inspired peace and relaxation garden featuring a Japanese sand garden, a calm pond, several running water features, stepping stones, short trails, and scenic views.

Although this is right next to the street, it's a wonderful place to feel like you're transported somewhere else.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful! Pristine gardens. My only suggestion would be a few more benches and perhaps a pic I. Table or two where you could eat and enjoy the space. I realize that would mean more costs to keep it clean and this place is free! Please do put a donation in the box though, this garden must take such a lot of work and...
