Nice small beach to stop and spend a couple hours playing in the sand. Not as nice or as vast as sand beach but much less busy and easier to get to. Very different beach experience depending on the tide. Bathrooms and water spicket are next to parking lot. Beach right on the road so keep an eye on little ones.

Nice clean beach, easy access from parking with public restrooms and rinse shower. The water is cold, but the way it gradually gets deeper it was perfect swimming for the kiddos. The sand is fine and perfect for building Sandcastles! Great family beach in Maine!

I've debated reviewing Seal Harbor Beach because I don't want to give away the secret. This is SOOOO much better than sand beach! The sheltered harbor is great for paddleboarding, much warmer water than sand beach, and much less windy. This is the best hot summer day beach on the island.

There is a public bathroom and shower/foot wash by the parking lot which is great.

The big downside is the lack of parking here. If you don't get in early, you will be relegated to hoping for a off road (potentially illegal) parking spot around the corner on Sandy Brook Road. Parking on Main St is treacherous as the road is very narrow and two way traffic without enough room.

Bring what you need to this beach as there is little in the way of food/drinks. There is also not reliable cell...

Personally, I love this beach. Bring your kids here and let them on the floating raft. It’s very fun. During high tide you can jump freely off the raft. The only flaw to the raft is that sometimes kids get rough with each tower and start pushing each other around. This can be dangerous. Especially when someone ones pushed off the dock into the metal attachment of the rope. But the parking lot has a reasonable amount of spaces and the public restroom is amazing. It’s well kept and clean. There is an outdoor shower to hose yourself off and the...

This beach is never crowded partly due to the small parking lot adjacent to the beach 🏝. If u don’t find parking just circle ⭕️ around for a few min and it would to be time up for some ready to leave so you take their place. The beach has decent sand but rocky at some areas. The great thing about this beach is the fact that you have to go several miles before the water reaches torso. It’s shallow and a great beach for families with...
