Turkey Brook Park — Attraction in Mount Olive

I am a lover of parks but this one is so incredibly well planned and designed. It offers everything any Township would want . A veteran wall memorial. Close to my heart as I have a family history that dates back to POW WWIi Stalag 17 ,Marine Army , Navy ,Airforce to current day law enforcement peacemakers. I always ♥ to go by myself to reflect on those that served so I can live free.

A special treat that I have never seen anywhere was a DOG WAR Memorial! 🐕 Amazing to visit . Much to my delight was a Yorkshire Terrier Memorial. The Yorkshire Terrier was a recognized ESA that stands for Emotional Support Animal . It was very windy . I took video apologize for the noise. There are soccer fields . Running trails . A beautiful Castle park for God's greatest gift children! 🎁 ❤. You can bring your dog but please clean up after your pet. There is even a catch and throw back fishing pond. There is a house listed on the historical society that is just breathtaking and currently being restored. Fields to play and roam jog,run,walk. I love nature. It's beautiful and free . Mount Olive has completed a vision of unity ,peace ,tranquility on a backdrop and scenery that reminds every person young or old be happy relax reflect restore . Absolutely love this park!

They have a few different sections.

Memorial section: They have a nice military memorial that honors those who served and sacrificed. Reading all the names is very surreal.

Next to the memorial a military dog memorial is there and I was so impressed by it. I have friends in the military that work with military working dogs and by seeing this definitely made me feel so happy that this town is honoring this!

Athletic fields: Soccer and baseball fields I think they have about 2-3 each with concession stands (open during a game I’m assuming)

Dog parks:

In the back they have two dog parks one for small dogs and one for larger. My dog is still a puppy so we just took her to the outside of the fence to see. There’s also doggie waste bags and trashed along the park. The dog parents that we encountered were very sweet!

The perimeter of the park has a trail so you can walk or run I think it’s a mile I’ll post an update if I find out.

Overall: very nice park with something for everyone
