This is the first time ever at Cheers that has apparently changed names and themes over the past few months. Used to be Asian cuisine now a sports bar. Jon Taffer of Bar rescue would be greatly disappointed in the re launch..Looks like they did not make any upgrades to the bar. Both inside and outside has seen better days. Orders a drink that has cranberry juice, they do not have cranberry juice. Apparently something that comes from the soda dispenser that is light red in color is considered Cranberry juice at Cheers. Never heard of Cranberry juice coming from a soda gun. However, the bartenders are very nice and make the best with what they got. The crazy thing is that this place has a ton of potential..They have a large stage for bands and a huge dance floor area that is all away from the Bar Area. This could be a tremendous Night Club after hours. Just have to figure out what the brand Cheers is ?? I will be going back in January to see a Band, see what they do, if anything.. Review is based on spicy tuna and salmon roll. Very impressed. Best sushi in the area. Nice bar and stuff too. I think you could have a decent time at the bar if you brought a group of freinds. Had some good bar specials as well. Appearance inside is better than outside. I feel like the poor appearance of the building itself takes away from this places ability to make fantastic food. Atmosphere is a bit weak in comparison to the great sushi. $25 gets you a lot of sushi as well. So good prices. They have lots of meal options as well. First encounter with Ginza was very in-expensive. The wife and I went after having our son, it was karaoke night and had such a great time. Tried ordering a filet mignon type hibachi dinner with fried rice and grilled vegetables, it was ok as we understand that’s not their main focus. Past two other times have been phenomenal as we’ve ordered a variety, but their delivery/ delivery staff could use some improved as we’ve waited over an hour, offered to pick it up considering circumstances, and the driver was quite rude. Spoke to the manager whom was really respectful and understanding so with that. We’ll be understanding ourselves....
