Gateway Trailhead — Attraction in Mount Shasta

This is a great spot for a hike or MTB. I rode the Gateway out and back and it was in great shape today. Today was my first ride on the trail and it was a great experience. Lovely place. Love taking my dog here, she can run and run and gets pretty tired after a walk or short hike through the woods. Be mindful of other dogs if you have an aggressive dog please keep them on a leash or warn other dog owners in advance. Trails are fun and pretty easy. But 3 stars is deserved for being anti ebike. Ban them all you want, but don't use a BS excuse to do it. What is even more lame is the nearby ski park, THAT HAS LIFTS!?!? is ok with e-bikes. Whoever is in charge of all this is behind the times and the area will lose tourism to other more welcoming trail...
