There’s something undeniably serene and sacred about this place. The Gateway Peace Garden wasn’t originally at the top of my list, but I’m so glad I made the stop. I came with the intention to pray and meditate, and it ended up being one of the most grounding and peaceful parts of my trip.

You can truly feel the energy here, calm, powerful, and healing. One of the most memorable moments was standing at the Healing Pole. I wasn’t expecting much, but something about that space was deeply moving and energetically charged. It felt like a quiet invitation to release and reset.

If you’re in Mount Shasta and have even a little time to pause and reconnect, this hidden gem is absolutely...

A beautiful little oasis in the middle of this lovely city, Gateway Peace Garden holds many surprises as you walk through its twists and turns. It feels both instrospective and inclusive, with representations of many faiths and cultures scattered through each small circular garden area. There you will also find a metal box & markers so you can add your own peace wish and hang it. Many thanks to the owners of this private property that maintain it and keep it free and open to all visitors. 🙏🏻 May one day the whole Earth be a Peace...

What a nice peaceful place. It’s like a secret garden. Most people probably don’t stop on this lonely road to enjoy the environment. There are a lot of areas where you can seat and contemplate and pray. It seems as though several or many people have contributed items to ponder. There is even a labyrinth. I think my photos capture all aspects of the garden. I hope this review and the photos will lead others to this peaceful place to enjoy. Bless the person and/or people who created and...

This is my 6th visit to Mt Shasta and first time hearing about this delightful and restful garden. What a joy! I was in awe of its meticulous design and was particularly thrilled by Kwan Yin, Goddess of Compassion and St Francis of Assisi here. So lovely.
