On the other hand, if your approach is from the south, there isn’t a compelling reason to make a detour to this location.
The size of the viewpoint might limit the appeal for a more extended visit, but it can serve as a convenient break for those passing through. From the northern direction, the option to step out of the vehicle and enjoy a quick glimpse makes it a viable pause along the journey.
