My husband and I are both born and raised in Kentucky but must confess that we did not know that many of the Hall of Fame inductees were born in kentucky, like Lionel Hampton and Mary Travers of Peter, Paul and Mary, in addition to well-known Kentuckians like Loretta Lynn, Tom T. Hall and the Judds. Very well done museum that traces the history of Kentucky music from early settlers to blues, jazz and country. Lots of period pieces and instruments. The attention to detail is slipping and some of the newer exhibits feel kind of phoned in with labels and placards that look like they were printed on an inkjet printer on plain paper and stuck inside the exhibit with rolls of tape. Definitely a "must see" to anyone in the area or just looking to break the monotony of I-75 for and...
