La Conner Gardens — Attraction in Mount Vernon

The lettuce we picked today was incredibly delicious and fresh. The leaves were fully washed and packed gently with care. The texture was delicate yet firm and quite large for lettuce leaf. The flavor had a subtle richness to it. Reasonably priced for organic lettuce. We also picked up turnips, kale, and spinach that look beautiful for tomorrow’s dinner. I only get to visit this area once in a great while, when passing through to Vancouver. Hands down Margy and Chris are the most friendly people with the freshest produce in Skagit Valley. I swear you can taste the love and care they put into their crops. Best tomatoes I've had in my life, no joke, and I've traveled quite a bit and tried A LOT...
