Mirror Lake Waterfall Trailhead and Parking Lot — Attraction in Mountain Home

Park in parking lot of trailhead. The hardest part is right where trail starts at parking lot as it goes down right away and there is some trickier drops (but not bad for most, maybe just for people that can't walk too well). It can be slick in spots as well on the rocks of trail. The rest of trail is pretty easy until you get to the old mill and you have to step up and down a bit a few times until you get to the water at the base of the dam, then you just have to be careful getting into the creek and walking to where you want to go with slippery rocks etc... You can swim right at the base of dam as it is deep and cold. There is a cliff over hang that you can go under that is nice and cool and shaded too. Some nice big dry rocks you can sit on as well if you don't...

An enjoyable excursion to the falls. It's straightforward to reach. We embarked on this journey during the autumn, and the hues of the trees and the water were spectacular. Some of the photographs we captured could be utilized for creating your own puzzles. #Adventures #Fall #Waterfall...
